About the Scholarship

For students from the nations listed below, GREAT Scholarships provides a wide range of scholarships from UK universities in a number of topic areas.

For the tuition of a one-year postgraduate study, each scholarship is worth a minimum of £10,000.

Each scholarship is co-funded by the British Council and partner UK higher education institutions under the GREAT Britain Campaign of the UK government.

Through arts and culture, education, and the English language, the British Council fosters relationships, understanding, and trust between citizens of the UK and other nations.

We work in two different ways: directly with people to change their lives, and with partners and governments to have a broader impact over time and benefit millions of people worldwide.
